Carys co-founded Pennyworth Productions with Julia in 2016 before stepping down in 2018 to pursue further training with Clean Break's Young Artist Development Programme. 


Carys is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Drama Studio London. Acting credits include Brainville at Night (touring), Mogg's War (Old Red Lion) and Lena in 'Every Me, Every You' (Short Film). 

With Pennyworth, she originated the role of Emily in Empty Beds and co-hosts PEN at the Arcola. Alongside acting, Carys is a writer and illustrator. 


Originally from Liverpool, Debbie trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (BA Acting).

Television credits include Rose Willis in Cilla (ITV), Anita Harris in Cradle to the Grave (BBC) and Sophie Alwell in Doctors (BBC). Debbie was the winner of The Monologue Slam Manchester 2013. Credits whilst training Debbie played Regan in King Lear, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Sarah in Philip Ridley's Moonfleece.

For Pennyworth, Debbie has played Jo in Empty Beds (dir. Kate Treadell) and  will do in all future productions.


Matilda is currently studying at LAMDA on the 3 year BA programme. She played Jo for the runs of 'Empty Beds' at Edinburgh's Underbelly and the Arcola Theatre (dir. Glynne Steele).

She continues as an associate artist, and we look forward to having her performing with us again when she graduates!
